The three-man panel of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, led by Justice Stephen Adah has dismissed the appeal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Kolapo Olusola-Eleka’s appeal.

Justice Adah, who delivered the lead judgment on Thursday’s night dismissed the appeal and upheld the Tribunal’s judgement that affirmed Dr. Kayode Fayemi election.

The Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate in the election, Mr. Olusola Eleka, had filed their petition before the Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which sat in Abuja, to challenge Fayemi’s victory at the poll.

The tribunal, on January 28, 2019, dismissed the petition and affirmed Fayemi’s election.
