Dear 2026 JAMB Candidates: O’Level Result Upload Is NOT the Same as Verification

A lot of 2026 JAMB candidates are still confused about the difference between O’Level Result Upload and O’Level Result Verification. Let’s make it simple.

O’Level Result Upload

Your O’Level result can appear on the JAMB portal through either:

Manual uploading of the result, or
The O’Level verification process.

O’Level Result Verification

Uploading your result does not automatically mean it has been verified.

For example, a candidate may have successfully uploaded their O’Level result manually, but the “Verified” status may still show “No.”

In that case, there is no need to upload the result again.

The candidate can either:

1. Complete the verification process personally, or
2. Wait for the institution to verify the result when verification is required during the admission process.

Remember This:

UPLOAD ≠ VERIFICATION

They are two separate processes.

So, before uploading your O’Level result again, check your JAMB portal carefully to know whether the issue is with uploading or verification.

2026 JAMB candidates, share this with your friends and coursemates so nobody gets confused or repeats the process unnecessarily.
