A disturbing incident has reportedly landed at Moore Police Station after a female colleague was allegedly assaulted by a man following a roadside confrontation.
According to the account shared by witnesses, the woman was walking home with her friends when a man reportedly called out to her, saying “Hey, you, yellow.” She looked back but continued walking.
The man allegedly became angry and threatened them, warning that if they crossed the road, he would “deal with” them. The woman reportedly asked who he was, to which he allegedly responded that he would show them.
The situation reportedly escalated when the man returned and allegedly flogged the woman with a stick while she was walking.
The account further states that members of the community confronted the man and demanded that he apologize. He allegedly identified himself as an Army man and reportedly said: “I am an Army man, I can’t say sorry.”
Those present reportedly insisted that he remain at the scene and contacted their representatives, after which the matter was taken to Moore Police Station.
