The overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2025/2026 academic session, Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, has received a ₦10 million cash prize for his outstanding academic performance.
Oluolamide, an Aerospace Engineering graduate, finished his programme with an impressive 4.97 CGPA and First-Class Honours, emerging as LASU’s best graduating student.
The cash award was presented under the Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme during LASU’s 29th and 30th combined convocation ceremony held at the university’s Epe Campus.
Beyond his exceptional academic performance, Oluolamide has reportedly received other forms of academic recognition, while some of his research papers have also been accepted for presentation at the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ NAICE 2026 conference.
