For the record, many of you know about the ongoing convention, Mountain Movers, but you may not be aware of the following things.
Here are the benefits that members enjoy during the convention period. No caps, just read.
- Free surgeries starting August 3: Cataract and other eye surgeries (including some glaucoma cases), free cesarean sections for complicated deliveries, at least 10 planned gynecological surgeries, and orthopedic procedures for trauma.
- Free clinic (mainly Wednesday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.): Full consultations, basic investigations/tests, and all medications at no cost. Expected to serve around 10,000 patients this year.
- Free dialysis: At least 25 sessions for chronic kidney disease patients who cannot afford treatment.
- Dental care: Scaling, polishing, and other procedures free of charge.
- Wellness & preventive services: Routine health checks, vital signs monitoring, and immunizations.
- RAPAC free screenings & support (stands across the camp): Tests for HIV, hepatitis B/C, malaria, typhoid, blood sugar, prostate screening (for men), cervical and breast assessments (for women), health education, counselling, and free drugs where needed. Everything is free.
- Full multi-specialty hospital capacity on-site (including emergency care, ICU, radiology, maternity support, and new robotic surgery capabilities), with extra staff mobilized for the convention.
- Physical fitness & recreation: Daily sports activities for participants of various ages.
- Skills & empowerment: RISE (Redeemed Initiative for Skills and Empowerment) sessions for youth and young adults, practical skill acquisition, networking, and free barbing services (around August 5–8).
- Special seminars: Multiple practical teaching sessions on topics with real-life applications, such as management, faith in action, and related areas.
- Community & support networks: Dedicated forums for women (Good Women Forum), elders, youth/children, pastors' children (Pastors' Seed Family), and workers, offering mentoring, mutual support, and global networking.
- Leadership/career pathways: Ordinations of deacons, deaconesses, assistant pastors, and full pastors.
- Logistics & welfare: Organized feeding, accommodation support, and a structured, relatively safe large-scale environment for millions of attendees.
